Jaye is the Director of Cloverdale Early Education and Care, bringing her extensive experience and dedication to the role. Born and raised in Perth, Jaye has deep roots in the Belmont and Cloverdale area. She fondly recalls the stories her grandparents shared about their early days in the area before the houses were built or the roads were paved, trading a horse for a plot of land that would eventually become Epsom Avenue. Growing up in the community, Jaye developed a strong connection to the area and its people.

During her younger years, Jaye showcased her talent and skill as a netball player, playing at a state-based level with aspirations of competing at the national competition level. Unfortunately, a severe injury prevented her from pursuing her dreams in the sport. Undeterred, Jaye embarked on a journey of world exploration before returning to Perth with a clear goal of working in early childhood education.

Jaye’s passion for early childhood education led her to complete her Diploma level qualifications. She gained valuable experience working across all age groups as a room leader before progressing to a Director position within a national early childhood organisation. However, after starting her own family, Jaye decided to become a full-time stay-at-home mum to her children, adjusting her career plans accordingly.

The birth of Jaye’s third son, who arrived three months premature and with various challenges, further shaped her path. She became a dedicated full-time carer, prioritising the well-being and support of her children. As her children grew older, Jaye decided to return to the field of early childhood education on a part-time basis, joining Cloverdale EEC. Her extensive experience, coupled with her passion and dedication, quickly earned her the role of Director.

Jaye is grateful for the opportunity to have been a stay-at-home mum to her four children, recognising that many families do not have that luxury. She understands the importance of creating a home away from home at Cloverdale EEC, where children feel safe, loved, and supported. Inclusivity and a sense of community are of utmost importance to Jaye, ensuring that families feel valued and included in the centre’s warm and welcoming environment.

Jaye cherishes her role at Cloverdale EEC, appreciating that it is an independently owned service with a dedicated owner. She has a deep respect for the team she works with, finding joy in their teamwork and the positive energy they bring each day. Jaye’s commitment to creating a nurturing and welcoming environment, combined with her passion for early childhood education, makes her an exceptional Director. Families can trust that Jaye’s leadership ensures their children receive the highest quality care and education. Her warm presence, extensive experience, and dedication to creating a home away from home for children and families make Cloverdale EEC an extraordinary place to grow and thrive.

Our educators can also use these messages to engage with your child by asking how writing the message made them feel, and by the educator expressing how receiving the messages makes them feel.
