Lis is an incredibly talented and passionate cook who serves as the heart and soul of our centre’s kitchen at Cloverdale Early Education and Care. Originally from Indonesia, Lis brings a wealth of cultural knowledge and flavours to her role. Fluent in both English and Indonesian, Lis has previously worked with children in early childcare settings, nurturing her love for creating delicious and nutritious meals.

Lis’s culinary journey began as a hobby and a genuine passion for cooking. Over time, her talent and dedication transformed her love for food into a fulfilling career. After relocating to Australia in 2013, Lis honed her skills as a chef in various restaurants across Perth. However, the challenging times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic led Lis to seek a change, and she joined our team as the dedicated centre cook.

As a mother of four children herself, Lis understands the importance of providing meals that are not only nutritious but also enjoyable for the children. She thrives on the challenge of creating new and interesting dishes that cater to their tastes and preferences. Lis takes pride in the art of food preparation, always striving to bring joy and happiness to the children through her culinary creations.

Lis’s passion for cooking extends beyond her current repertoire, as she constantly seeks to expand her culinary skills and explore new culinary horizons. She embraces the challenge of trying new recipes and techniques, ensuring that our centre’s menus are diverse and exciting.

Among her many culinary talents, Lis particularly enjoys baking. Her expertise in this area is renowned, and we all agree that she makes the best cinnamon scrolls in all of Perth. Her baked goods delight the children and staff alike, adding a touch of sweetness and warmth to our centre.

We are truly fortunate to have Lis as part of our team, as her dedication, creativity, and love for cooking shine through in every meal she prepares. Families can trust that their children will be nourished with delicious and wholesome food under Lis’s care. Her commitment to culinary excellence and the well-being of the children make her an invaluable member of our team, and we are grateful for the joy she brings to Cloverdale Early Education and Care.

At Cloverdale Early Education and Care, we believe that every child's potential is unique and valuable, and we're excited to be a part of your child's educational journey!     Please indicate the days you would like to enrol your child. Please note we do not offer occasional care or half days.


    Sometimes we will only have vacancies on some of the days you require. Please indicate if you are willing to commence your enrolment with only some of the days you have requested. If you require additional days, they will be offered to you as they become available. We give priority for additional days to families who are already enroled.

      This form is available for parents and their children to write a heartfelt message to their favourite teachers and other staff at Cloverdale Childcare. This is a tradition called a “Warm and Fuzzy”.

      While brightening the day of the recipients, and making them feel ‘Warm and Fuzzy’, these messages can be used to teach children about positive social interactions, to positively contribute to a supportive community, and to become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing.

      Our educators can also use these messages to engage with your child by asking how writing the message made them feel, and by the educator expressing how receiving the messages makes them feel.
