Rie is a valued educator in our 0-2 babies room at Cloverdale Early Education and Care. With her extensive experience and expertise in early childhood education and care, Rie plays a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our little ones. She holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and has experience acquired over several years of dedicated work in the industry.

Originally from Japan, Rie moved to Australia in 2009, bringing with her a rich cultural background that she enthusiastically shares with our centre. Fluent in both Japanese and English, Rie’s bilingual abilities create an inclusive and diverse atmosphere where children can explore and embrace different languages and cultures.

Before her career as an early childhood educator, Rie worked as a Business Administrator for several years. Her background in administration brings valuable skills to the room, particularly in terms of regulatory documentation and organisational tasks. Rie’s meticulous attention to detail ensures that all procedures are handled efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of our babies room.

As a mother herself, Rie understands the importance of creating a caring and nurturing environment for young children. She finds great fulfilment in working in early childhood education, as it allows her to engage in the physical and dynamic nature of interacting with children. Unlike working in an office behind a desk, Rie appreciates the unique and ever-changing experiences that each day brings in this field.

Rie’s genuine kindness and caring nature make her a beloved presence in the babies’ room. Her infectious laugh and warm demeanour create an inviting atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and cherished. Rie’s dedication to fostering the holistic development of each child shines through in her interactions, as she takes joy in nurturing their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

Families at Cloverdale EEC can trust in Rie’s expertise and unwavering commitment to their child’s well-being and development. Her passion for early childhood education, coupled with her diverse background and experience, makes her an invaluable member of our team. We are grateful to have Rie enriching the lives of our little ones and bringing warmth and positivity to our babies’ room.

This form is available for parents and their children to write a heartfelt message to their favourite teachers and other staff at Cloverdale Childcare. This is a tradition called a “Warm and Fuzzy”.

While brightening the day of the recipients, and making them feel ‘Warm and Fuzzy’, these messages can be used to teach children about positive social interactions, to positively contribute to a supportive community, and to become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing.

Our educators can also use these messages to engage with your child by asking how writing the message made them feel, and by the educator expressing how receiving the messages makes them feel.

You can send a Warm and Fuzzy right now using the form below!
