Originally from Bangladesh, Syeda completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and simultaneously worked as a private tutor, providing valuable academic support to children in years 1-5 in subjects such as Math and English.

In 2012, Syeda relocated to Australia and started her family, and she is a proud mother to two daughters. Her experiences as a parent, combined with her passion for tutoring, inspired her to pursue a career in early childhood education. She obtained her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, allowing her to work with children of all age groups at Cloverdale. Currently, she is dedicated to furthering her qualifications by pursuing her Diploma level studies and enhancing her expertise and knowledge in the field.

Aside from her role as an educator, Syeda takes on the responsibility of caring for the animals at our centre. As the animal caretaker, she ensures the well-being of our fish, chickens, and birds. Her love for animals and nature creates a nurturing environment where children can develop a sense of responsibility and compassion towards living creatures. Syeda actively teaches children how to responsibly care for the animals, fostering a sense of empathy and connection with the natural world.

Syeda’s exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail contribute to the smooth operation of our centre. She is known as the go-to person at Cloverdale Early Education and Care providing valuable support to all educators and working across various rooms. This form is available for parents and their children to write a heartfelt message to their favourite teachers and other staff at Cloverdale Childcare. This is a tradition called a “Warm and Fuzzy”.

While brightening the day of the recipients, and making them feel ‘Warm and Fuzzy’, these messages can be used to teach children about positive social interactions, to positively contribute to a supportive community, and to become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing.

Our educators can also use these messages to engage with your child by asking how writing the message made them feel, and by the educator expressing how receiving the messages makes them feel.
